libenv-ps1-perl software package provides prompt string formatter, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libenv-ps1-perl
libenv-ps1-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libenv-ps1-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libenv-ps1-perl *
You will get with libenv-ps1-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
